If, like this years’ Great British Bake Off contestants, you occasionally struggle with that tricky caramel layer in Millionaires Shortbread, Hazelnut Praline Caramel is the perfect quick alternative: Add 85g of unsalted butter, 50g of light brown sugar and a jar of Hazelnut Praline Caramel to a pan. Bring the mixture to the boil, stirring constantly until smooth – then simply pour on to a cold biscuit base and leave to cool and set. You can also enjoy with Bonne Maman's new Salted Caramel.
